I crash bikes
ok so I'm doing this project for a guy. A swamp ash tele with a light Relic NOS finish. Did the sealer then ebony grain fill. Sanded out perfect, dark veins then sealed again. All Lacquer btw from Stewmac. Next Sonic Blue perfect.
This is one of the light relics that have color under top coat. Kinda like the hideous Gibson thread I started. So the next layer was fiesta red. I got 1 coat on and the can puked. I figured it's only a color layer so I struggled through it. I had to scotchbrite a little Argh.
I get to the top layer, TV Yellow. Perfect, about 8 full coats. So today I started clear. It had moisture in it. Omg. You've got to be kidding me. I got bubbles. Thanks Stewmac!
