What do you like on the side of a good juicy steak?

We usually do mashed potatoes or steamed broccoli or a grilled sweet potato.
Tonight I'm thinking about maybe scalloped potatoes. I can't remember the last time I had them.

Gary...I don't care what you have with your slab of tofu

Gets some fresh asparagus and snap them in half. Put them in a pot of water, salt, pepper, little olive oil. Watch it and bring to a boil. When it boils take it out and plate it. Drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper and serve immediately with the steak.

Scalloped potatoes for me almost always goes with ham.. I've never had them with a steak..

Potatoes go with steak though and IMO baked is the best with sour cream and toppings of choice...

Almost any veg..Asparagus are great.. I like to drizzle them in a little olive oil and herb\spice of choice and broil them so they still stay crunchy..

Zucchini as a side is a cool choice too...

Oh, and a beer..............

But Baked potatoes with butter and sour cream.

I'm old school...give me some ranch beans or a baked potato...other than that some green beans work for me.
