Our Pinto or Cordoba woyuld usually be rockin AM-Jam. Sundays they would be grooving to stuff like this:



Or if they felt saucy it might even have a fuzz pedal inda mix yo.



Times weren't all bad. At least Crystal Gale was a hotty if she happened to pop up on HEE Haw or something.



Of course that ^^^ has nothing to do with cruising with dad.

My father grew up in Cottonport, LA, and loved the country music of his day. Oddly, I wondered why he loved Hank Williams' Jambalaya. Only later did I cime to know that he was Cajun.
 
A lot of that got played at my house too, particularly the Jerry Jeff Walker and Jim Croce.
