I've had that happen twice. I put Gins' bed in his room, then went to work. Came home to it destroyed. Another time a dogsitter did the same thing.

This is the second one she's eaten. I don't know why. Those beds just kind of hang out there. The last one was about 5 months ago.

Dogs get bored. Some dogs need a challenge or work to keep them content. Ask an owner of a super smart dog like a Border Collie. (not all BC's do this, right Jack?)

I'd fire any dog sitter that destroyed a dog bed. cop0

He always ate in the steak bar.

You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need.
You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street,
You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed.
And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight,
You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking.

Doggie mojo sent.

This made me remember my old high school buddy who used to have a huge black lab.
I guess they had him locked in a room. He made an escape by digging a hole through the wall.

I used to have a beagle that ate grass. Once we moved to NYC there wasn’t enough grass so she ate anything that looked close. My other dog ripped the stuffing out of a dog bed, the beagle ate it, and we ended up with a $1200 vet bill.
