Seriously, I would consider this if the amp ever comes out of the bedroom. At most, I'd play electric for five songs live, so it is less likely to happen.

So anyway, after looking at the pics in the OP, the duct tape suggestion might not be too far off. That's a pretty significant tear.

I once put a hole a new speaker while mounting it, but it was just the size of mounting screw. With a small patch it sounded fine.

i fixed a ripped cone with elmers glue. worked like a charm.

I've used rubber cement with success. Apply to both surfaces and let in dry first, then apply the patch.
