Snow Day in the ATL

We got about 4-5 inches at my house here in MA today, and about an inch at work. It took me an extra 5 minutes to get to work (normally about 55 minutes, an hour today) and the ride home was only 50 minutes (usually 1:15 to 1:30) because everyone apparently stayed home. They kept the roads well salted so they were just wet.
 
We have about 6 inches on the ground, quick frozen to the roads despite pre-treatment...it had been a few hours since they plowed the road I drive to work so I ran 12 miles through 2 to 3 inches on top of ice...just another winter day here...:shrug:
About the same here in SW MI. Anything other than a major road has a layer of ice topped with snow. One just has to drive alot more carefully on those :embarrassed:

Mojo! there are an assload of flights delayed and cancelled.Hope you get out ok
Finally made it to Tampa. A one hour layover turned into 8 hours. Having a late dinner on the water in Treasure Island Florida.
