For a while it's been these two guitars (Wolfgang in standard, orange Strat half step down):

I don't usually need the Jettenuator for actually playing out and I normally have my EQ/gain set more clean on the Bugera. I also bypass the master volume and effects loops. The top left input has channels 1 and 2 in parallel (like a jumpered Marshall). I actually don't like the bottom input, which is cascaded (since this amp is basically Bugera's version of the Randy Rhoads 1959).

I have been tweaking and adjusting the settings on the Mesa and the Flyrig every gig that we do (it's difficult to get accurate gig settings when practicing at home)....

Man, I was so happy with my guitar sound last night. The solos for Smooth, Santeria and Brick in the Wall were just on. I was playing the rosewood necked PRS through this path:

Frampton Wah -> TC Spark Mini -> Turbo Tuner -> Flyrig (Boost, Overdrive, clean channel with reverb, Tap Delay) -> Mesa Rectoverb 25.

The best thing about the size of the Recto, I crank the clean channel to about 2:embarrassed:0 and set the gain about 9:embarrassed:0 and it's plenty loud, but has that tube squish, and then we mic it through the PA. :baimun:

Thanks, and it sounds a ton better since I swapped out the 500k push pull for a 250k. I'm also going to move the input jack at some point... or change the back plate so it's at a better angle.I'd like the guitar cable to sit against the back of the guitar and tuck in the strap. Right now it angles out away from the body a bit too much.
