Food Jam: Select Michigan Arby's to have venison sammiches!!!

Well, that photo looks awfully tempting, but remember: What you actually get may differ:

I'd rather my venison comes from the woods and not a farm.
I'd also rather my food comes from just about anywhere but arbys/fast food.

yabba is nothing if not concerned.

farmed deer might be safer than wild on the spongiform encephalopathy front, but I think there have been cases found in farmed deer as well

You have a lot of ground to cover.

i don't think i'll be making any 'road trips' for anything fast food.

however.......if you happen to be near the Cabela's in Dundee Michigan, they DO have a shaved, smoked ELK sammich that is great!!!
(i go there once a year, if only for the sammich)

I guess that beats a shaved moose knuckle, amirite?!

My first job at 14 (lied on the application) was at Arby's. I loved Arby's prior to that. In the 35+ years since then, I have eaten at Arby's maybe 4 times, and then only because there was no other option near.

Just sayin'.

Makes no sense to offer them in an area already chock full of fresh venison. WTF. I guess they (incorrectly) think only people who live in deer hunting country like to eat deer. Those people likely already have venison in their freezer. That's like only selling seafood on the coast. While I agree that seafood is best where you can smell the ocean, there is a shit ton of fish and seafood eaten in landlocked states.

How do you feel about an Arbys truck picking up roadkill from the side of the road and turning into your lunch?
