I really dig the concept, and in execution, it's pretty darn cool. Not $5500 cool, mind you, but I dig it.

For anyone who's on the fence about this guitar... you need to understand Jason's inspiration for the build.

It was meant as a tribute to WWII. He selected various materials and build elements based on "what would a guitar look like if it was built during WWII using materials on hand.

But then the case and the "personal effects" that were added in just put the build over the top!!!

ASSuming he survived fighting during his time in the war, he still would have been producing lap steels.
