I tend to agree with you on that...the nut on that thing feels narrower than 1 5/8", and most of my guitars are 1 11/16"...it's the ultra narrow nut that's been keeping me from buying it...

1 5/8" is 1.65", isn't it?

I think I've seen some specs on a couple models where it states that the nut width is 1.625", so you guys might be right unless that is a misprint.

Yes, 1.625 = 1 5/8...Thing is, on a neck that thin, that narrow nut width makes it feel like a toothpick, even in my size small hands...that works on a bass, but not on a guitar for me...

Plus I'm not convinced that the nut width on that thing was even 1.625"...

Their overall aesthetic is a little disappointing with the import line, but the US Schecters are outstanding.
