T-Rod

The Scala T-Rod takes thing to the next level. Incorporating the best of the vintage design, but with modern features and refinements only available in Scala Guitars. This prototype comes in a custom finished “Worn Denim” over a chambered and vented Swamp Ash body, a Quartersawn Maple neck and Indian Rosewood board with Scala’s “Endless Frets” and “Compression Free” bolt-on design, Arcane pickups and topped off with a custom metal control plate. Easy to play, hard to put down.

When it comes to high end boutique instruments, it is all about the details which take a concept and it’s functionality to another level. Features like the ‘Compression Free’ bolt on construction, hand oiled necks with ‘Endless Fret’ slotting design, an optional chambering system that features our unique ‘Sound Vents’ design, recessed stainless steel neck plates with brass logo inlays, optional set neck conversion, proprietary hand wound Arcane USA pickups combined with multi switching options and countless hours of meticulous skilled labor, makes the new T-rod play and perform above and beyond the competition.

Not bad, but not at that price. It reminds me of that other brand (whose name I forgot) that does similar looking guitars for about $350.00.

Fuck the price right in the fucking face!

That said, I really like the guitar itself. I was not expecting something I'd like with the finish of worn denim (either some terrible acid washed looking thing like PRS does or actual worn denim), but that's just a kick ass Tele with neck HB.
