Rice and beans

I like red beans and rice, with some smoked sausages.
But I was not raised on it. We were more of a cornbread and butterbeans family.

I had a lentils-On-rice thing i made out of whatever was in the fridge, but my wife got sick of it so it fell out of rotation.

I've never heard "rice and beans" until now. No, realli!
It must be a Southern thing, but it has always been "Beans and rice" 'round here.

Either way, red beans and rice Cajun style is nice, but the fartworks show can be deadlli.
