Reverend Sensei RA Coffee Burst

I like the Bob Balch Sensei better

I love Reverend guitars, but the last few years have had some pretty shitty and bland finishes. One thing I always liked about them was being different.

It's pretty. I agree that it's a bland finish. But a sensei is still high up my list of guitars to buy one day.

The Sensei is the best SG alternative on the market, but because Gibson sucks I'd rather have a Reverend

I might go ahead and buy one this year. Prices on MIK guitars just keep rising, and now that most MIK stuff has reached Reverend’s prices I want to get one before the Reverend prices go up.

I thought prices were up about $75 this year?

Looks like their Sensei RA in violin burst, but in gloss instead of satin, and a pickguard.

CME is the only place I've seen it

I wonder if it's a special model for select stores, or is it a new Reverend Sensei option?

I like yours better...the cherry sunburst with cream guard and rings is far nicer (all things being equal).

But as it relates to this thread, I agree with Iam...the Balch is a very cool guitar.

Most of the flat finishes will be fazed out shortly and replaced with traditional Reverend finishes. The gloss finish Sensei's are standard models and will be available everywhere. The bayonets have also been updated.
