Rev vs the metronome

ugh, the struggle is real. This week I’ve been hitting the trusty old Ross Bolton funk book. Working on my rhythm chops.

Strange thing. One day is pretty good the next day I’m drifting around a bit. This is so much easier with a drummer.

I’m mixing it up with some BB King style major/minor blues licks. Just to keep from going crazy.

Hook a car battery up to your flashing indicator, then run a jumper to a metal stool. De-robe, place taint on stool and fall in time shockingly fast!

This is why I sometimes like playing with no drummer or just use a drum machine.
