Re-Pedaling

One thing I’m grateful for in being an old Luddite is I’ve never been tempted by modelers. Heck I went for yrs totslly acoustic sans any amplification other than a microphone so when I returned to electric I remained a plug and play analog knob twisting kinda guy

Modelling and simple straight-to-amp setups are great and all, but pedals are just too fun to give them up completely.
They are. But I’m getting really sick of pedals that Velcro and Dual Lock won’t stick to. I don’t understand why more pedal companies don’t just use the same finish as Earthquaker and Catalinbread on their pedals. Or do what Peterson does and make a vecro sticker designed to fit perfectly on the pedal.

Yea its kinda annoying to have to rip the rubber off the bottom of every BOSS pedal, or take the feet off your Rat2, just to get it to stick to a board.
Other than that I havnt had any problems getting velcro or dual lock to stick.. Altho sometimes it does a number on the paint job or the obligatory reg compliance sticker on the bottom of the pedal.

I own a lot of pedals for different applications live and recording. I got rid of alot of units I no longer used to fund other ones. Like many, forever chasing the sound within ones head. FWIW, I am still an Analog Man!!!
