Question about Early Taylor 110e

Hey all, I am looking to trade my Epiphone Joe Pass. Not playing it much, Offered a 2006 Taylor made in USA 110e for the Joe Pass. It's in mint condition...

Good Deal, great deal, or meh?
 
The 110e is Taylor's budget line, with a laminate sapele body. The good news is that it has a Sitka spruce top.

My experience with Taylor guitars, as with most acoustics, is that you should not buy it without playing it first. I have picked up a 110 that was amazingly resonant, and another that was dead sounding. If it sounds good to you, then it's not a bad deal, though, not what I would call a great deal.
