I like the graphic. The guitar...not so much.

I read in one of his interviews that he got that graphic guitar just because he liked the way it sounded & felt- it just happened to have a graphic on it. I think that it helped him early in his career to have a unique looking guitar- I just remember associating that guitar w/this absolutely ridiculously good new guitarist named John Petrucci, when Images & Words was first released.

That album changed everything for me, & the look of his guitar helped cement Petrucci into my mind, kind of like how EVH is associated w/the Frankenstein , & JHendrix w/the upside-down strat.
