UNACCEPTABLE!
Ok I have a set of Paul Gilbert's "Injector" pickups...both neck and bridge (they do not make an Injector mid pup FYI). I want to trade for an Area 61 and Area 58 OR a Duncan YJM bridge and mid pup. ONLY.
My honest review of the Injectors:
The neck pup is great. Thick meaty but enough articulation to say, "Wow that's a big sounding Strat pup!" It has a low end roll off that keeps it from getting muddy. It is NOT a PAF in disguise! It is definitely a strat pickup...just a big thick one.
The Bridge pup is very good but I like the neck better. Pretty much the same description as the neck pup. Big thick chunky...but NOT a PAF at all. Its a strat pup that roars with a bit of chime. Its in your face if you like that. If you want a strat that rocks this set is a great one.
Of course both are completely silent.
If you want to buy lemme know and I'll work up a very fair price. Both pups are mint and have full length leads Looking for the same in trades.
