PRS S2 Satin?

Nice looking guitar. I'd love to get one of the S2s, but all of their hardware is nickel plated (I contacted PRS to verify it), and you know me and nickel. There are no PRS replacement parts, that aren't nickel plated. PRS even went so far as to tell me that what few models they sell, that have gold, plated hardware, are nickel pated under the gold. Oh well, no PRS for me.

Actually there are.... PRS won't tell you this but John Mann made the original bridge and (AFAIK) still makes them, and has direct drop in replacement bridges. I've spoke to him in the past regarding unplated brass and he can make those.

Swap out the tuners of your choice and a Mann Made bridge and rock and roll. :baimun:

Showing as "used", but has to basically be brand new, right?

$650

I don't think that's one of the super new satin models, so it could be lightly used. Used S2s seem to be a heck of a deal.

I bet they'll be an even better deal next year and the year after. The bottom is going to drop out of the guitar market in the next 5 years, so I'm trying to wait. I don't really need another guitar right now.

I'm not sure I agree the bottom is about to drop out. We could see a new guitar music craze and the prices go up instead.
