As a "look what I can build" guitar, it's pretty phenomenal. The prices, well, not astronomical for hours put in but way beyond anything I could fathom. Then again, anyone who can drop 50-100k on a guitar can probably do it with out breaking a sweat.

Honestly, 1 or 2 of those would be my year gross sales. Sure would be nice to get that all in one lump.

Lump is the right word. There is something so aesthetically unpleasing about that guitar. While I agree that the marquetry, the fingerboard inlay and the overall craftsmanship is all over-the-top, the combined effect is (to me) downright ugly and mis-shapen. I guess I just have never been a big fan of baroque, which is just as well, because something like that would leave me b-roke!

This guitar makes a lot more sense now that I’ve realized it’s one of a series of ten produced with an Alice in Wonderland theme.
