I bought one of those for my son (minus the FR and Active Pickups), several years ago....

It was a heck of a guitar for a kid to learn on.......not top of the line, by any stretch, but it wasn't junk, for sure.....

I went to the local GC a couple of days ago just to see what they had in the used section.

Played a couple of the $799 Schecters they had while I was there. I must say I was impressed, I think their quality has gone up in recent years. I used to hate the way they played and felt just a few years ago.
