I usually always prefer a head and cab to a combo but I think the ac30 would be one of the only amps I would rather have in a combo. good on them though for making it an option, just personal preference for me.

If I wanted one for a recording studio I would totally get a head. I think I'd rather have the combo to gig with though. Especially the AC15.

Good point. Especially since my AC15 combo already has the ideal speaker in it (alnico blue).
