You know, I'm not even 100% sure I know the answer to that.
Typically I like a plate or hall reverb where I can control how bright or dark it is. I don't usually have the guitar swimming in reverb, but I don't want it as dry as say, AC/DC.
I have a HOF Reverb and I like it enough but a friend has the same reverb as Mark (strymon) and his sounds amazing. I'm just not sure I want to drop $300 on it. Even though I probably don't absolutely need it, the thought of a midi controllable unit is appealing.
I have that really good spring reverb @Mark Wein sold me last year. It's on the spam board. Simple and really warm.
The Blue Sky is a great pedal but it was a little hard to tame the reverb....it was either all there or not at all.
I like spring Reverb but it's not my first choice in a Reverb.I have that really good spring reverb @Mark Wein sold me last year. It's on the spam board. Simple and really warm.
The Ehx didn't pass muster?I like spring Reverb but it's not my first choice in a Reverb.
Similar to what Mark said about the Strymon....it's all or nothing. Even the lowest settings had an awful lot of reverb. Plus it's a really bright....The Ehx didn't pass muster?

It doesn't hurt that Pete Thorn is doing the demo either.
