i've been GASsing for a RAT pedal since i sold my ZIM. the ZIM was more of a RAT/Distortion + hybrid and i never felt like it truly captured what i was going for (and then there was the tubescreamer side ). i had stupidly sold my RAT2 upon purchasing the ZIM and i've been looking for one ever since. but since ProCo changed the chips, the new ones sound kinda shitty. Pal built a GGG Rodent into a trashed Voodoo Labs Analog Chorus housing and hand painted it for significantly cheaper than a new Whiteface RAT RI. plugged it in at lessons today and it sounds awesome. no, i did not have anything to do with the graphics. but how can you not like an alligator charming a snake with a tennis racket?

I like it, it looks like my kids painted it. Plus, the only distortion pedal that has ever worked well for me was a RAT.
