It's a digital delay made to emulate a BBD or Carbon Copy delay.

True, but this sounds close enough or even better and I have finer control of the parameters I need to dial in what I'm hearing in my deal. I like the bucket loss control way more than i should, too.

Even with all of the expensive boutique-y analog delays that I've owned it's amazing that most of them don't work or sound much better than that stupid carbon copy, too.
