NGD: Squier Classic Vibe - NO! Vintage Modified Jaguar

Someday I need to look up what all those switches are used for two single coils. :embarrassed:

It is actually a Vintage Modified, not a Classic Vibe.

Deepest apologies for any inconvenience.

Typically playing through a Deluxe Reverb with an OCD for overdrive. But I've only had this one for a couple days, and I've had precious little time to play around with it so I'm not sure what works best yet.

So, have you had more time to play it, and if so, how does it like the Deluxe Reverb, and visa versa (BTW, is that the original Deluxe Reverb, or the reissue, like mine)?

I've been pretty busy with work bullshit this week so I haven't gotten to crank, but I'm impressed with the little time I've spent. The bridge trem stays in tune surprisingly well, and the guitar is eminently playable. Very plinky, aggressive but still possible of mellower tones. I'll have to really turn the amp up to get a good idea but so far it's on par with the Japanese JM I had in the mid 2000s.
