thank you, everybody! it's the sound i was hearing in my head that i was hoping to achieve. that's an amazing feeling.

Scott - i really like all mahogany acoustics and have almost one on various occasions. but there's something about the spruce top that works better for me. i'm not sure i can really explain why. the combination of spruce top and mahogany back/sides is a winning combo, IMO.

some people really like maple acoustics. i think they can be visually appealing, but they tend to be way too bright for my ears.

i think the OM body size is the perfect size for me. i also have more recently been taken by the L-00 size as well. i will always love my D-35 and that big, booming dread sound, but the OM is where it's at for me.

I'm in this camp. The country guys use them and they really pop in the mix, but they're not my style.
