NGD 65 Epi Olympic

Doin some horse trading I acquired this 65 Olympic. Made in Kalamazoo. Body is one piece mahogany. I took 50 years to relic this to it's present road worn condition. Lots of mojo. Without a doubt it is funky. But it plays great nothing broken. All original except the knobs and the nut. The Maestro vibrato is long gone but the wrap around bridge is original. I'm told by reliable sources that this guitar once belonged to George Terry of Eric Clapton Band fame. Cowriter of Lay Down Sally. Also Steven Stills' band.

In the spirt of full disclosure I have to report that I just recieved an email from George Terry. He never owned one of these. Oh well. Some people will tell you anything. Some people (me) will believe anything. That really had no bearing on the trade. I think it was a fair deal all the way around.

Cool! I bet this was the basis for a lot of the crazy Japanese Fender-style guitars with lively pickguards.

Cool guit.

If it plays as well as one of those last epi wilshires it would be perfect for me. Hope you like it.
