Still no contact from USACG. I went online to shoot them yet another email and noticed they've added a banner to their site:

Finally got a response from USAGC and the neck should be shipping out next week.

Neck delivered this past Thursday but I’m not home to examine. Since 3/2 they have been in touch with updates and wanted to make sure it arrived safely.

Neck is fantastic. Shipped in a custom sized USACG box with plenty of protection.

Just went to test fit the tuners and the holes are just a smidge tight for the hipshots. I'm going to need to ream them out.

Measured the tuner holes and I suspected, the tuner holes were drilled more to vintage spec rather than Schaller spec as ordered.

Body and pickguard should be shipping out to me today or Monday. Cant wait to see it.

MJT did a killer job. Exactly what we discussed in our conversation showed up on my doorstep today. Light weight clear pine body with the finish I described.

Now that I have sufficiently recovered from dumping cash into my summer vacation, it's time to get the remaining hardware and electronics to continue this build.

My outstanding question mark is which wiring scheme do I want to use and which kit to source?

On the plastics, anyone have a lead on parchment pickup covers and knobs?

I can only find relic versions in that shade between bright white and cream/aged. I think I might have to buy bright white and tint them myself.

Dang, it's a PITA to find white plastic for JMs. Aged white? No problem. Looks like white witch hats are limited to suppliers that have old stock All-parts knobs on hand.
Knobs and pickup covers are on the way. I'll have to decide what shade of parchment I want to age them when I see it all together.

One last trip to Old Town Music this weekend to get some odds and ends like strap buttons and such.
