The plate allows great creativity in driving as all the EU countries assume you are an alpine goat hearder and not used to driving around other people. The BL is the canton (state), and the red bishop's staff is the state symbol. The cross and the CH sticker are country ID's for Switzerland. The CH sticker is required to drive into many EU countries.
