New study shows that people stop listening to new music at 33

It's interesting how people like to insert themselves as some kind of barometer in these surveys. I've been atypical my entire life. I don't count.

This really only matters to people who sell music. If you have an evergreen catalogue of music, or stuff that sounds like older music, put it out and clean up. Fewer people will be buying music from bands who wear skinny jeans.
 
I must confess that I rarely listen to music. Most of the time I have NPR on the radio in the car and I don't have time to listen at work or home. I am more likely to play music than to listen.
