New amp build, but what color?

Hey, all

I'm having de Lisle build me an amp. I have most of the specs I want figured out but what tolex/grill cloth combo? I like the browns and the seafoam tolex.

Yeah, tough choices. I may go with one of the browns and a black or black cane grill, but the seafoam is tough to pass up.

My mood this evening makes me think you should order something that is completely off the wall and different. Not some Fender tweed look, or Marshall look, or whatever. So, I say Seafoam or (teal or ocean sparkle) tolex with either black/gold, wheat, or blue white silver. maybe natural cane.

I think they should make forest green tolex with plaid grill cloth as an option though.

The question is whether you want your amp to stand out from the pack.

If so, I think the Seafoam with Turquoise White Silver.

If not, British tan with Wheat, or Natural Cane

Friend of mine had a hayseed 30 built w/ brit green tolex and a salt and pepper grill cloth combo that looked really nice.

I hear ya, I just don't like British green.

Ocean Sparkle with Blue, White, and Silver
White with Black and Red

In that order.
