I know, that was kinda the point. But I was curious how it would sound, and I gotta say, I'm not disappointed. Sounds like the Cornish could work with a larger SS amp for sure. Not that I'll be getting one, but I might bring it to some guitar stores once I move down to Bergen, and give it a whirl through some bigger amps.

Been thinking of putting a lower gain tube in my Marshall JTM-1, and see how that affects the sound of the Cornish. Thoughts? Got an old Mullard 12AU7 that I wanna try out.
