Back to my delay pedal search. And there is a new contender...the MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe. I really like the original and this one has everything I'm looking for. I think it will come down to that one or the JHS Pink Panther. I'll have to see how much my Hardwire sells for.

I was thinking about that one until I saw the price. $229 seems a little much for an MXR. At $175, it would be a contender.

At $229, might as well go for the far more flexible DOD Rubberneck.

Rubberneck has modulation speed and an effects loop. Both are essential to creating whale sound tone poems.
