Depending on what you are looking for, you can find used ones at very reasonable prices. I gotta steal on this one.

Clean headroom, some nice dirt..from just breaking up more raging (which I'm unlikely to use)...basically what people used to want/expect from MESAs before the Triple Rectifier became one of the main amps in metal for a while. The foundation is a good clean. I've got that with my Blues DeVille 212...but talk about a heavy amp. Made sense for a 20 year old, not so much for a 45er with shit knees. And Fenders don't have a smooth transition to loudness. Zero is off, 0.5 is barely audible, 1 might be good, but 2 and your ears are bleeding in a solo practice room.

But I'm not in the market in general and as we'll be adding car payments again real soon, not for a while yet.
