I finally surrendered to the inevitable. At 68 I've always played big heavy combo amps. This one is my first all tube lite weight. Sounds great, it's got enough volume and headroom for what I do these days and no more lugging the Twin around.

HNAD!

I turned 60 this year, and even though I loved my Peavey Classic 50, it left this year, because I got tired of going to the chiropractor to straighten out the damage it did after lugging it around. I totally understand the need to lighten the load.

I've never regretted playing a blues jr. I don't have one right now (still using my mesa express 5:25), but I'll own another blues jr at some point.

Congrats on getting one... and yes, they are small and light, and pretty loud. I will say though, I've had a blues jr run out of steam playing with a band; a drummer can drown them out pretty easily if they get frosty.

That tele is

Congrats!

I switched to the 1 x 12 combos in my mid 40s (bad back). Love mine (AC-15). All the volume I need. Good choice.
