The Waller is here. No plans to beautify it. Definitely keeping the Waller badge, just to hear people say, WTF is that?
Sounds great. Some people say it sounds like a Jazz Chorus. Never herd a JC in person. Watched some youtube videos, while I was waiting for it to be delivered, I really can't tell. To me it sounds Fendery. Using the Jensen Mods in the Ampeg. Tried my 2x12, Texas Heat, and a G12T, not nearly as good. It just sounded dead. Tele sounded so much better than the Gibson V. It has lots of gain, doesn't sound good with lots of gain. Lower gain is pretty fricken good. On the lead channel, gain at 8 o clock, sounds like a clean channel, just starting to get dirty. Classic rock gain is good too. Some people say, it's the greatest distortion on the planet. No. I will say, it's every bit as good as the Peavey Supreme, "Bandit in head form".
