Music doesn't bring people together. It divides them into small groups to market fashion to. And if you don't wear/play/listen to/emulate/like THIS (whatever THIS is), then obviously something is wrong with you. Fenders, Gibsons, Marshalls, and Tubescreamers are those things in the guitar world.

of all the guys I know IRL that play, only one (other than me) has a Gibson.
none of them have a Fender
not a clue on the pedal, some of them may have one, I guess.
our guitarist uses a Marshall cab, but not the head.

mos of the guys I know I have Ibbys, Jacksons, Riches...that sort of thing.

but a lot of that likely has to do with the style of music, I'd think

I'm just talking about what I've seen them play onstage, mind ya.
I have no idea what else they may have at home.
