Mint '69 Shelby GT500 found under 40 years of dust

So it sounds like the owner bought the car and then never drove it. Seems like he missed the point of owning the car.

He might have just forgot where he parked it. I have dreams about that kinda thing all the time.
Or maybe like all norwegian bachelor types he was a bit lax on cleaning up things.

I always take these reports with a rather large helping of skepticism...
I was talking to a guy at work tonight who is a Mustang enthusiast.

He said he heard of this, and that he's heard that some experts have checked the car over and everything may not match. The tires on it were manufactured in 1972 I guess, and a couple of other components may not be original.
