Dude, the pedals and cymbals alone are worth almost what you paid for that kit. I'm interested in what you think of the wooden rims. I've been playing drums for years and have never played on a kit with wooden rims.

Oh, for sure. A lot of the hardware needs a good cleaning, as it was sitting in a garage unused; the drums he kept in the house, but were also unused so there were cobwebs and dust to contend with. Until I get some new heads on there I can't really speak to the hoops, but wood hoops have always been sexy on drums... I was really into Ayottes back when they were new, but that was way outside the price range of a 13 year old kid.
