Took some pics during my foray into the amp this morning. Very clean, with one small exception (not a big deal, but funny):



This piece of wire covering was fastened to the board. Looks like it came from the pot wires when they were installed. Noticed it 'cause it's right next to the bias voltage divider resistors I was looking for:









 
Interesting. Must get hot in there with all those components so close to each other.
 
In 20 years kids everywhere will pay a fortune for mesa 5:25's, then buy a piece of vintage correct wire insulation and glue it to the location in the pics to try to copy your signature sound on that famous album.

Even better. Then you'll have the follow-on experts who will point out the only way to get your sound is to add the insulation, run the amp for 3 months, then remove it. That will explain why just adding the insulation alone didn't do the trick.
