What an absolute waste of great, rare, tone wood. That is flat out ugly on top of that. It get that it is a special guitar. But that is so ostentatious to the point of ruining the moment.

Among the most beautiful they have ever made??

Inlays are wrong.

So far, this is going just about how I thought it would. I understand that some people like their stage guitar to have some bling (I'm drawn to a little bling myself), but when I saw this, I wondered whether the extensive inlay on the back would have any effect on the overall resonance of the guitar. I know the soundboard of the guitar has the greatest effect on resonance, but I still wondered. Over the top? You folks keep making the call.

Because what goes better with early twentieth century minimal industrial design than mother-of-pearl rococo? Even the people who invented that style of decoration would barf.
