Yes our fearless leader got a chance to sample one of Al's guitars. It is really just a prototype put together as an experiment. No Al was not there at the OC Blues jam this past Saturday but a good friend of his was - he uses or buys Al's guitars.

The front and back are just metal with wood sandwiched in the middle.
