Lunar eclipse tonight

Punchy

Slacker Supreme
Starting as early as 5:11 pm (Pacific) with totality lasting from 7:11 till 8:23, make sure you step outside for a few minutes this evening to catch the supermoon total lunar eclipse!

We are planning to view it.

This pic is from last night, sitting around our new fire pit my kid built.

Quite cloudy right now here...which given it has been crystal clear for about 3 months is kind of a bummer...hopefully the clouds will clear before sunset...even though that will make it hot AGAIN

We had clouds all day, but now we just have light clouds and some haze. Things are looking up for seeing. Not sure how good pictures will be, but at least I will see it.

Almost halfway gone! Someone is stealing the moon!

View here is ok. Getting pics seems impossible with the haze.

Our full eclipse isn't for about 18 more minutes. but pretty cool looking right now. I don't have a great camera to take a shot of it. My wife is trying with hers. We'll see what she gets.

I had to crank the crap out of the ISO, as I was hand holding shots. Too much noise, I think. I need a tripod.
