LU Series LU-21TEK Tenor Acoustic-Electric Ukulele with Fishman Kula Electronics Natural -...

I'm also rather tempted by that, I don't really know much about quality ukes though, whatchyall think?

I think it is a great deal; I just don't care for tenor ukes. But if it were a cncert uke the trigger would have been pulled.

I'm pretty sure that most Lanakai ukes are made in China, and the LU series is their lowest tier. Lanakai has some much better Hawaiian-made ukes, but you definitely won't find a new one on sale for $109.

Anyhow, I think the price is good for what you're getting. You may have to do some setup and file down sharp fret ends.

It's made of NATO, so I'd imagine that the attack is probably rather flabby, with a rapid decay...
