Yep.
In the style and/or mood of Braveheart. I could just watch that again, but was thinking about trying something else first. Done Gladiator too many times. Not wanting Last Samurai. Considering Platoon. Would probably choose that tonight over Apocalypse Now. Have not seen Platoon in a long time. Any other thoughts?

Whatever you do, don't watch 'The Dark Valley'. I'm watching it right now, and it sucks donkey balls. It's a Western, but happens in Germany, if that gives you any indication of messedup0 that you have to deal with. If you love those extremely bad Italian spaghetti westerns of the '60s-'70s, you may like The Dark Valley.

On the plus side, it's waaaaay better than the western 'A Cold Day In Hell' starring Michael Madsen. Better than 'Django Unchained', too (that movie was horrible).
 
I think that Braveheart and Gladiator are both excellent examples of shitty movies that scored Best Picture Oscars.

So I'm probably not someone who should be making recommendations.
