Hey now, I've seen them live and may have owned their record. I think my aunt dated one of them at one point. I think it was their drummer who owned Jaxx for a while.

I'll have to make sure I catch this when it airs. I've seen a lot of great shows at the 9:30 over the years. They've all been at the 9th & V location though. Their old location was a little before my time.

I've caught a bunch at both. While the old 930 F st location had its charm, the 9th and V venue is way better. The old club was oddly shaped and very small. I remember the first time I went there and and was amazed that this legendary club was so tiny and odd.

I'm sure we'll catch up some time in 2016. I'm always looking to head up to the DC area for a show or a Caps game.
