Poast your licorice collection (because everyone has one, amiright )

I'll start...I really really really dig the black licorice. In particular the Italian hard variety with the real bitter quality..it's oh so good! what do (those people) over there say? Belissimo

so here's what i got so far. I need to rectify this with some Venco brand (Holland) but to me the Amarelli brand is God!
Top to bottom left to right we have ...

English, German, Dutch
Eyetallion, German, freedom(french), Italian

I also love black licorice. Currently only have a bag of katjes "cat ear" (non-salty) stuff in a drawer at work (sorry, no pics). I need to track down some of the italian sort you describe, I also lurrrve bitter. what's your recommended eye-talian brand?

edit: I'm not a very careful reader at the moment! I'll have to find some Amarelli

You are in Luck....I actually buy mine from a place in Chicago called Smallflower/Merz Apothecary. I know nothing of Chicago but I think it's probably downtown..Lincoln Avenue and yes Amarelli is the STUFF !

My wife's parents came from the Netherland in the 50's. That really salty black licorice has always been a tradition with her family.

I love black licorice. My parents emigrated from Germany in 1953. We grew up eating German licorice. I'm a big fan of the various types of European licorices.
