Keeping it short. I really enjoyed it overall. It wasn’t perfect but how could it be. Story was good. It looked great. It did a nice job of not going where you expect it is leading you.

A bit heavy on the comedy but not terrible. The porgs and crystal dig things were both fine imo.

I’m excited to see it again. A really fun movie.
 
The more I think about the movie the less I like it. I hate to be that guy but I think it had serious problems
 
Just got tickets for me and the son for 11:15 tonight at the amazing Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime theater. That specific theater is our go-to for all blockbusters because of its astounding picture, sound and comfort. There were only 7 tickets available for that showing at 7:30 this morning, but luckily 2 of them were our favorites, at the left end of Row D.
 
I liked it a lot. Yes it had its issues, but it was fun and took some really cool turns while keeping with the spirit of the Skywalker story. My movie-going companions didn't like it as much as I did. Going to see it again next week sometime with my daughter.

I doubt I'll go until January.
As an original fan who saw it opening night, I'm sick of the barrage of SW commercialism at every turn. The magic was lost starting with episode 1, 2, and 3.

The Force Awakens was pretty good, so that helps.

I enjoyed the hell out of it. Sadly, a douche who has since been unfriended posted some spoilers that I saw yesterday before seeing the movie today. I wish people wouldn't do that shit.
