so @PunkKitty and i have 4 cats. The most recent addition to the family is a 14-year-old orange tabby named Jasper. He's a really good, really cuddly kitten. He's actually under my arm right now, purring away.

as it turns out, jasper has diabetes, and will likely not survive this year. I'm absolutely devastated and PK's not feeling great about it either.

i'm crying right now. I've never lost a pet before. i just feel like the sky fell right on my head.

M ojo. I'm a dawg dude but pets are pets. Honestly If my dogue could tolerate cats I'd probably get one to ward off the pigeons but neither this one nor my previous dog could co exsist with one. BTW that's a nice looking kittykat!

14 years isn't a bad run for a cat. Our kitty (schmootzie) was probably 14 or 15 when she died last year, and we were all comforted by the knowledge that we had made her last couple of years warm and happy. I'm sure that Jasper is grateful to you for taking him in and improving his life.
